• A = b h (b = base, h = height)

• A = ½ * diagonal 1 * diagonal 2

• Opposite sides are = in length

PRACTICE PROBLEMS

Question 1 Given the diagonal lengths of 3 & 4 of a rhombus, what is the area?


-- Answer -- 6

A = 1/2 * 3 * 4 = 6


Question 2 Given the diagonal lengths of 6 & the side length of 5. What is the other diagonal length?


-- Answer -- 8

Use Pythagorean theorem = 4 * 2 = 8
