• a² + b² = c² (a, b, & c are side lengths of a right triangle)

• This can only be used on right triangles!

Question 2 The figure shows the location of 3 people’s homes. Mark goes from his home to Lakecia's home and takes Harbor Rd then Lott Rd. Lakecia takes grapevine road. How much shorter is Lakecia's trip?

Grapevine = 13, Harbor + Lott = 17, Dif = 4



Question 3 Given cos θ = 15/39, what is the length of the 2nd leg
